In the village of Ban Dao Jing at the southeast corner of Jinan, villagers do not plant crops but "plant" houses for compensation from the government when they are demolished. Over the past ten years, hundreds of unfinished buildings have been built here; it has become a wonderland. For ten years, Li Ning continued to invest manpower and material resources in shooting and creation... He wanted to be an eyewitness to the disappearance of this village and preserve its memory... A new version of Strange Stories from Liaozhai depicts the strange reality of China's "new countryside" at that time and the modern rituals on this land.

Over the past ten years, I have explored various spaces and households in depth. In the end, it was presented in parallel with different levels and perspectives through multi-parallel ways to construct this disappearing village at the end of the world. This process is interesting and difficult.
