Director
With a stylized and experimental visual tone, the short film shows a circus in a gradual “mutilation,” portrays a subaltern who struggles through life, and tells a fable about human’s innate tendency of craving. The clown in the film is isolated, not only by his own animals and the watchers, but also by the social atmosphere. With the arrival of the dusk, not only does the circus go to its demise, but also does the clown’s attachment to the world.
