With the emerging development of sexual minority’s movement, LGBTQ individuals’ lives started getting more and more attention in our society. According to many social surveys, same-sex couples are the same desired as heterosexuals when considering having a child. However, sperm donation to same-sex couples or unmarried female is illegal whether in Korea or in China. For sure, it is more difficult than expected to have a child for minorities. As a director, not a lesbian though, I try to tell people a story about them in a comparatively objective way. What I want to convey to the audience is that no matter homosexuality or heterosexuality, the only thing that hinders two people from being together is lovelessness.
