“WANDERLAND”, is what I’d been contemplating to work on during the pre-production of my short film. Originally, I was planning to complete my final year short film back in Malaysia, but due to the impact of the pandemic, I needed to change my plan. I was so aimless at that moment, and was considering whether to go back to Malaysia, for my short film and for my future development. This is how my story was created. During the process, I went through a lot of photographs taken on the previous days, and I spent hours to listen to my family’s voice messages in the group chat. They were talking about health, vaccines, life, etc. It’s a nostalgia.
